It was super gorgeous outside but we decided to take a nap. Getting little sleep the night before to wake up at 6 to catch the sunrise, we had a long day ahead and didn’t want to be tired. But before my back hit the cushion, I shot straight back up and proposed an idea to Judy, my sister. “Hey, wanna shoot some more?!” We had just spent the morning shooting her engagement session at her new house in San Francisco and Jin had dozed off, but unfortunately I’m not as good at taking naps during the day. Judy was all over it, which made me even more excited. It was like we were kids again playing dress up but this time for real. She has an amaaazing view of the city and I couldn’t resist taking advantage of it. The sun was at it’s brightest so it was a bit tricky to shoot with harsh light but we had so much fun for so many reasons it didn’t matter. I’d kept a pretty good streak visiting the Bay area a few times a year for the last several years but didn’t have a chance to go last year because of an extremely busy schedule. And though I wasn’t able to visit for long, that made every single minute of this trip extra special. Getting to spend time together being silly, basking in the view, the sun, we felt like we were kids again. Aside from the visual memories, these are moments we’ll both cherish for a lifetime.

More on my one and only, best sister in the world here.

To me, this photo oozes the peacefulness I felt every time I looked out into the city …

I love the way accessories and color add so much more character and personality to a photo…

We moved inside and did a quick outfit change for a softer look…

Fierce! and a little sweetness to top it off…

Feel free to take a peek at Judy and Eugene’s engagement photos here. Thanks for stopping by!
